Professor Andrea Fanti, an exceptional Head of Internal Medicine, faces a life-altering event when the father of a deceased patient shoots him in the head. Though Andrea survives, he is left with no recollection of the past twelve years. As he regains consciousness, he finds himself unable to recognize his colleagues, his family, or even the person he used to be.
