Si-eun suffers a brutal attack from the thugs hired by Bum-seok to target Soo-ho. Despite sustaining severe injuries, Si-eun chooses to keep this from Soo-ho to shield Bum-seok from any suspicion. Eventually, Soo-ho uncovers the truth and resolves to confront Bum-seok directly. Meanwhile, Bum-seok, anticipating retaliation, enlists Woo-young once more to carry out another assault on Soo-ho.
