The Belgians have stepped in, represented by Propre UK and the suave Brian Forget. The refuse collectors, compelled to swallow their pride, must register with the newly privatized company, even though it means accepting reduced pay. Ken is the sole holdout, opting for a severance package—but his break from work is short-lived. Life at the job for the 'supercrew' becomes increasingly intolerable, until Ken discovers a newfound fascination with European law.
