Twenty-one-year-old Connor finds himself in A&E after a severe motorbike accident that leaves him with critical injuries to his leg and lungs. Meanwhile, 58-year-old Lisa arrives with a hurt wrist, the result of a slip in the shower. In another part of the emergency department, 69-year-old Rob, who suffers from locked-in syndrome, faces a life-threatening situation as his breathing tube has come loose, making it difficult for him to breathe.
