Episode Overview
Captain Taverner leads his team of North American Federation (NAF) troops on a straightforward mission: eliminate invading aliens on a remote planet to safeguard a crucial energy mineral for Earth and a lucrative resource for the NAF. To prevent infection from the grotesque bug-like aliens, the soldiers must receive special genetic injections. However, the operation takes a turn when Lieutenant Rosen is injured during an encounter with the aliens. As she begins to hallucinate unsettling visions of them and realizes her injector is faulty, she grows suspicious that the drugs might serve a purpose beyond just protection. Ultimately, Rosen must seize control, risking her squad’s safety as she questions whether their mission is really about battling aliens or entangled in human politics.
