Continuing the story from the previous episode, Griff King, a young man recently released on parole, shows up at the Ponderosa and is taken on as a ranch hand. Ben, Joe, and the rest of the family demonstrate their patience as they work to guide the proud and bitter Griff in adapting to life outside of prison and embracing a more honest way of living.
