Episode Overview

As the grueling sea training looms, the recruits start their preparation in the pool, patrolling three underwater air stations while struggling to maintain their breath. During this intense drill, Hasebe Tatsuya (Watanabe Aoto) suddenly loses consciousness due to a lack of air. Witnessing this, Shirakawa Tomoki (Maeda Kentaro) is gripped by overwhelming fear. Having grown up in an orphanage, Shirakawa had aspired to be a pararescue jumper to be a hero for his peers. He excelled in his exams and earned the trust of his fellow trainees, yet despite putting on a brave front, memories of Sayaka Fujiki (Anna Ishii) and Hasebe, both of whom drowned in a previous session, haunt him, leaving him shaking with anxiety.
