Renowned artist Max Barsini resides in a stunning beach house with his wife Vanessa and their stunning live-in muse, Julie. Next door lives his ex-wife, Louise. This trio forms Max's exclusive circle, each woman cherished in her own way, yet all under his control. He thrives on their emotional dependency and competition for his affection. Tensions flare at a dinner one evening when Max prompts each woman to share her thoughts on the others.
