Ethan and Emily are on a mission to win a grand prize at the carnival, but they soon discover that the more tickets are printed, the more prices climb. To understand this phenomenon better, they travel back in time to experience Ancient Rome and visit Modern Zimbabwe, witnessing the Inflation Monster in action. With their newfound knowledge, they hurry back to the carnival, determined to prevent the same fate from happening there.
