Episode Overview

Title: Mindbender Plot: A UFO mysteriously self-destructs near Moonbase, leading to the discovery of an enigmatic crystal rock that triggers vivid hallucinations in those nearby. The Moonbase personnel who first encounters it becomes convinced that Mexican bandits have invaded the base. The crystal is soon brought to Straker’s office, where he experiences a bizarre vision, believing SHADO is merely a television production, with himself as an actor named Mr. Burns. He thinks Moonbase can be accessed through two doors in the control room, and that "Mr. Straker" isn't available. Straker shatters the illusion by leaping into the scene as Gen. Henderson delivers a pivotal line from their scripted moment.
