Episode Overview
Speed realizes that Cumulus won't be able to evade him forever. Utilizing the autojacks, he makes a swift getaway as Cumulus chases him down. With a clever trick, Speed manages to take out the Mesmo gun using the homing robot. As Cumulus speeds off, Speed pursues him, and the Cumulus 5 ascends into the sky. Above, Inspector Detector observes the action, while Spritle and Chim Chim sneak on board the rescue vessel. The Cumulus 5 plunges into the water, and Speed follows suit, using his nightshades to navigate the darkness. Cumulus enters an underground cave, and as a steel door slams shut behind him, Speed crashes into it, realizing he has under half a tank of oxygen remaining. Meanwhile, Inspector Detector is on the lookout for the Mach Five. Spritle and Chim Chim have hidden aboard a second vessel, and when the inspector orders his crew to apprehend them, the
