Episode Overview

Matt is visibly irritated by Logan Fowler, the Aussie exchange lifeguard, whose obsession with heroism nearly leads him to run over a drowning victim while rushing to rescue a woman from Matt. Meanwhile, Mitch is trying to rein in Hobie's strong desire to pursue a music career, which has been encouraged by his mother. Stephanie finds herself attracted to seismologist Riley Ferguson, but her sister unexpectedly shows up without a place to stay after a breakup. C.J. keeps appearing, anxious and distressed over a minor tremor that Mitch finds amusing.
