Max allows a tipsy driver to make it home, but the woman ends up in an accident that leaves another driver paralyzed. Things get trickier when Wambaugh suggests to the drunk driver that a bit of Scotch might help her relax, alongside the complications of Max's therapy sessions. Meanwhile, the mayor takes issue with Jimmy, implying he struggles with having a female superior.
