Paul encounters a six-year-old stray pug named Mildred, who suffers from numerous health issues, including a severe infestation of sarcoptic mites. He also meets Patrick, a ten-month-old golden retriever who has undergone double hip replacement surgery and is eager to return to play. Additionally, Paul comes across eleven rare blue whippet puppies, all set to begin their new adventures in life.
