Carl Betz portrays a disenchanted model citizen drawn into the mystery surrounding the murder of a young hippie girl. As he delves into the investigation to find her killer, his heartbroken daughter is on a frantic quest to locate him. Julie is played by Peggy Lipton, while Lorrie is portrayed by Annette O'Toole. Clarence Williams III takes on the role of Linc, and Michael Cole features as Pete, with Dan Travanty as Johnny.
