Absolutely Fabulous S04E05 - Small Opening

Episode Overview

Saffron's debut play, Self-Raising Flower, which explores her tumultuous relationship with Edina, is set to premiere at a nearby theater. Fearing a negative portrayal, Edina tries, but fails, to sabotage the performance. As the family gathers for the opening night, Saffron extends an invitation to Edina, who hesitantly attends with Patsy. To their surprise, they find the play entertaining, even though a man plays Patsy's role. The production unexpectedly turns into a hit, being embraced by both the cast and audience as a comedy instead of the tragedy Saffron originally envisioned.
