S1E4 The Chances

Michael's mother, Annie, and his brother, Jacob, come from Boston to spend Thanksgiving with him. Kate is determined to host an ideal Thanksgiving dinner for Michael and his family, but hidden tensions could spoil the festivities, leading to a confrontation between Danny and Jacob. Meanwhile, Michael, overwhelmed by family dynamics, neglects Ryan's messages all day. Eventually, Annie reaches out to Michael, helping him overcome his creative block. Afterward, Kate confronts Danny about the earlier incident, but he remains tight-lipped about what transpired.
