Jan is growing frustrated with the crowded household and expresses her desire to be an only child. In response, her siblings grant her wish by giving her all the space she craves. However, Jan quickly realizes that the solitude she sought is more than she bargained for when she begins to feel left out of the fun and activities with the other kids.
