Nick and Schmidt persuade Jess to retrieve her belongings from her ex-boyfriend Spencer's place. While there, Jess encounters her new roommate Winston, who has just returned from a basketball stint in Latvia. Winston attempts to reclaim his old room from Schmidt, leading to a clash of interests between the two.
