On a quest for a remarkable living relic from the past, Steven Rinella ventures into the rugged mountains of the Sonora Desert for an authentic, free-ranging buffalo hunt. While Steve is familiar with buffalo, navigating this arid and stark environment to track them presents a unique challenge unlike any he has faced before. After a patient, long-distance approach, he successfully takes down a young bull, resulting in an abundance of bison meat to share with family, friends, and locals. With some assistance, Steve crafts a genuine multicultural feast to serve a gathering of eager cowboys.
