Kit Kelly, an Irishwoman with multiple marriages behind her, arranges a wedding feast at a restaurant for herself and her new spouse, American TV writer Byron De Goris. When Byron’s briefcase goes missing from his hotel, Henry grows wary of his demeanor. His suspicions deepen after Margaret reveals that the groom isn’t who he claims to be; instead, it’s his friend James Jackson. Having known both men three decades ago, Margaret uncovers a tragic truth: Byron took his own life, and James has taken on his identity. Henry is determined to uncover the reasons behind this deception.
