To mark the 20th Anniversary of Empire, Lucious steps out for his first public event since the Las Vegas explosion, yet he remains devoid of any memories about his family, Empire, or his past. A heartbroken Cookie fights to reconnect with him while keeping a wary watch on his nurse, Claudia. At the same time, Andre finds himself under scrutiny from the LAPD regarding the events that transpired on the night of the explosion, while Diana DuBois intensifies her vendetta against the Lyon family.
