Anika and her team collaborate in secret to orchestrate a surprise performance that impresses Pitbull. At the same time, Lucious seeks out Frank Gathers' daughter, Young Ma, aiming to persuade her to join Empire. Hakeem is focused on developing his girl group, Ménage a Trois. Meanwhile, Andre and Rhonda believe that their impending parenthood might melt Lucious’ icy demeanor and pave the way for Andre's reinstatement at Empire.
