As the annual variety show at Riverdale High approaches, Valerie's attempts to assist Archie with his performance create tension between her and Josie. Meanwhile, Betty and Jughead's quest to uncover the truth about Jason's death leads them to a youth rehabilitation center, where they unexpectedly encounter Polly. Just when Veronica's relationship with her mother seems to improve, a shocking betrayal sends her into a tailspin. At the same time, Josie struggles with her own challenges at home, especially with her demanding father's arrival for the show. Lastly, Hermoine's first day at Andrew's Construction brings her and Fred closer together.
