Jacko approaches Mr. Morella to ask if he can take out his daughter, Lucia, and is granted permission to visit her. However, he soon discovers that the approval only allows him to see her at home, and for a limited six times. Meanwhile, Elmo faces issues with his staff, who resign over what they perceive as inappropriate 'friendly pats of encouragement.' To lift Veronica's spirits, Jacko takes her out on a date. On another front, Leslie is determined to marry Giles for practical reasons, planning to make him propose, but her plans fall apart when he realizes he still loves Gloria and breaks things off with her.
