Eli experiences a prophetic vision of an earthquake striking San Francisco. With Dr. Chen's guidance, he comes to the realization that the earthquake will impact the area where his client intends to construct a shopping mall, displacing the current residents. Eli grasps that the only way to safeguard the community is for his client to proceed with the evictions, even if it means resorting to bribery to influence the judge.
