Episode Overview

Ed Hamner, a former baseball player sidelined by an injury that cut his career short, receives an old baseball card from 1909 featuring a player named Monte Hanks who bears an uncanny resemblance to him. The card possesses a magical quality that transports Ed into Monte's life from the past. Faced with the choice of reliving his glory days on the field in good health or staying in the present with his troubled wife, who worries he might never mature, Ed must navigate the difficult decision between two vastly different lives.
