S1E7 Over Your Dead Body

Martin decides it’s time for a long-overdue vacation and heads to a travel agency, where he’s presented with numerous pricey options. He ultimately chooses Bermuda, feeling excited about his getaway. However, his plans take a turn when his boss, Sid, drops by to discuss some troubling news affecting the city: a gruesome family murder that also involved the butchering of their dogs. Before Martin can escape on his trip, he must get the widow, Lyia, signed as an author for Whitestone, as the usual person handling this is unavailable. Although hesitant, Martin can’t refuse. Surprisingly, he discovers he’s quite adept at this task, much to his dismay. Lyia is torn; while she’s been harassed by the media, she’s also considering sharing her story. Meanwhile, the police have yet to catch the perpetrator.
