Episode Overview
Yusuke continues to struggle with Genkai's Spirit Wave Orb absorption challenge. Sensing that he’s pushing his limits, Genkai attempts to reclaim the orb, but Yusuke insists on finishing the test. Meanwhile, in the ring, Shishiwakamuru rolls the dice, landing on Kuro Momotaro and a free spot for team Urameshi. Hiei steps up to fight. As they face off, Kuro requests Hiei's katana, licks its blade, and cuts himself. The battle kicks off with Kuro squeezing a steaming sphere from his belt, inhaling its fumes to trigger his first beast armor, the Armor of the Ape. Hiei strikes, only for his sword to shatter. Kuro retaliates with powerful punches, sending Hiei crashing into the wall while explaining that his body absorbs the pain from attacks, using steaming spheres to build immunity.
