At 19, desperate to fuel his heroin addiction, he stole his mother’s credit cards, leading to his arrest and a year in prison. Afterward, he found hope in treatment, became a tattoo artist, and welcomed a daughter named Lyla with his girlfriend, also in recovery. However, the pressures of fatherhood drove Joey back to heroin, spiraling into a dangerous addiction. Now estranged from his father and struggling with his relationship with his mother, Joey risks losing everything. His family believes an intervention might guide him toward recovery, mend their bonds, and help him embrace fatherhood.
