On the second day of the Inter-high, the cyclists set off in the order of their previous day's performance. Sakamichi and Teshima work hard to close the gap with Imaizumi and Naruko, who are leading the pack. However, Kaburagi starts to feel unwell. Meanwhile, Hakone Academy keeps a steady but slow pace to regroup with their strategist, Kuroda. As Kaburagi struggles, he falls behind his teammates. When Sakamichi attempts to help him, Teshima intervenes, worried about Hakone Academy's potential reaction. Suddenly, Aoyagi speaks up...
