Simon Brimmer shows up at a restaurant to host a live broadcast of his popular mystery radio show, and both Ellery and the Inspector join in on the event. As expected, a murder occurs right there at the venue when one of the owners is poisoned through a bottle of wine. Will Simon manage to solve the mystery before Ellery does? Naturally, he won't.
