Waterloo Road is buzzing with excitement as Viv O'Donnell, a famous local radio DJ, arrives to host her live show at the school. While the students are eager to learn about radio journalism from a pro, her daughter Andi, a quieter student in Scout and Emily's class, feels uncomfortable with her mother's fame and prefers to stay in the background. Meanwhile, Sian and Michael wake up late after spending the night together at a hotel. Jez, struggling with his doubts, decides to take Sian's car keys to check her GPS, which reveals she has been dishonest about her location. When he confronts her, Sian, overwhelmed with guilt, admits to the affair. Trudi finds herself in a tough spot when Finn inadvertently reveals that her father wants her to marry a family friend. Additionally, Tariq steps in to help Chalky when a surprise dinner for Linda goes awry.
