Episode Overview

Title: The Cost of Liberty Plot: Sonia heads to East Mobius to catch up with her friend Mindy at the LaTour Estate. After receiving a trendy watch from Mindy, Sonia uncovers that these seemingly fashionable accessories are actually surveillance tools manufactured by Mindy's father, Mr. LaTour, for the Robotnik Intelligence Agency. Sonia, along with Sonic and Manic, confronts Mindy and Mr. LaTour about the situation. Realizing his mistakes, Mr. LaTour halts production and chooses to flee with Mindy. The hedgehogs cleverly repurpose the tracking devices to assist the LaTours in their escape.
