Overview

Young officer Ivan Demarin, serving under Peter the First, journeys to the remote town of Tobolsk, nestled in the heart of Siberia. There, he experiences the thrill of first love, only to find himself entwined in a conspiracy involving local princes seeking gold in Yarkand. As tensions rise, Ivan and his regiment face the daunting challenge of defending their fort against relentless Dzungar warriors, all while grappling with betrayal and danger.
