Overview

World War II turmoil unfolds as Reese, a weary GI, finds himself thrust back into combat with his squad instead of heading to a much-needed rest. Tasked with holding a precarious position against a German pillbox across a minefield, a small group of soldiers employs clever tactics to create the illusion of a larger force. When Reese leads a risky, unauthorized assault that results in the deaths of two comrades, he faces the threat of court-martial upon the main platoon’s return. Determined to prove his bravery, he embarks on a lone mission against the formidable German stronghold.
