Fortress (2012)

Overview

Set against the backdrop of World War II, a young and inexperienced pilot steps into the shoes of a fallen commander during a bombing mission over Sicily in 1943. As he grapples with the weight of leadership, the tight-knit Irish American crew of the B-17 Flying Fortress is hesitant to accept him. Facing both external threats and internal challenges, the rookie must prove himself worthy of their trust while navigating the harsh realities of war and the bonds of brotherhood within the cockpit.
