Sorry We Missed You (2019)
Ricky and his family have been grappling with financial hardship since the 2008 recession. A glimmer of hope arrives when Ricky secures a shiny new van and a chance to become a self-employed delivery driver in a franchise. While the prospect of independence is enticing, the demanding nature of the job, combined with his wife's challenging work as a carer, strains their relationships.
