Overview

In a Japan overrun by colossal monsters, Kafka Hibino is employed in the field of Kaiju disposal. His life takes a turn when he reconnects with his childhood friend Mina Ashiro, who is making waves in the anti-Kaiju Defense Force. Inspired by her success, Kafka resolves to chase his long-dormant aspiration of joining the Force. However, everything changes when he unexpectedly morphs into the formidable "Kaiju No. 8."
