Overview

In 1946 London, newspaper journalist Ellen McGillivray pays a visit to the renowned author Herbert George Wells. She hopes to delve into the experiences and influences that shaped his visionary ideas, but instead, she discovers a reality where scientific limits have vanished. The story unfolds decades earlier at London’s Imperial College of Science, where Wells encounters Jane Robbins, a brilliant scientist with a keen interest in the supernatural, who instantly captivates him. Together, they embark on late-night experiments and clandestine explorations of the paranormal, navigating the unpredictable tides of time and destiny.
