Overview

Cootie, a 13-foot tall Black teenager from Oakland, embarks on an exhilarating journey of self-discovery. After being sheltered for years, he’s ready to explore the vibrant yet complex world around him. As he forges new friendships and experiences the ups and downs of first love, Cootie also faces a series of humorous and awkward moments. His adventure takes a thrilling turn when he meets his idol, a genuine superhero known as The Hero, adding an extraordinary twist to his coming-of-age tale.
