As the new millennium approaches, humanity faces a dire threat: the return of the Angels, intent on eradicating life on Earth. In the aftermath, survivors have retreated into the depths of the planet, biding their time against an impending apocalypse. Fifteen years later, the moment arrives, but this time, humanity is equipped with fearsome bio-mechanical machines called Evangelions. Join Shinji, Rei, Asuka, and the enigmatic organization Nerv as they engage in an epic struggle for survival, battling against these celestial foes to prevent total destruction.
