Bored to Death (2009)
Jonathan Ames, a disenchanted writer living in Brooklyn, grapples with the aftermath of a tough breakup, exacerbated by his heavy drinking and a stalled second novel. Instead of confronting his issues head-on, he escapes into a world of imagination, taking on the role of a private detective.
