Overview
Set in the tumultuous year of 1863 in Kyoto, the narrative centers on Nio, a compassionate young man deeply devoted to his family. Beneath his gentle demeanor lies a fierce desire for justice. Nio’s life transforms upon meeting Toshizou Hijikata and Souji Okita, members of the despised ronin group, the Miburo. Inspired by their courage and conviction, he joins forces with these brave souls, embarking on a journey marked by integrity and resilience, as they wear their blue wills proudly on their hearts and challenge the injustices of their time.
