The Originals (2013)
Set against the vibrant backdrop of New Orleans, The Originals follows the Mikaelson siblings—Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah—who are the first vampires in existence. Upon Klaus's return to reclaim his city from his former protégé, Marcel, tensions rise as old rivalries resurface. Klaus, having fled from his father Mikael during the city's construction, is determined to assert his dominance once again. His ambition is further complicated by the arrival of an heir, the first child born of a hybrid and a werewolf, prompting Klaus to contemplate the legacy he wishes to leave behind.
