In the summer of 1984, a five-year-old boy disappears in a quiet Swedish village, prompting a police investigation that leads to more questions than answers, leaving his family shattered and the community rife with speculation. Two decades later, Vera, the boy's now-adult sister, facilitates a therapy group in Stockholm when a participant shares an eerily similar memory of a missing child.
