Overview
Set in 1715 on New Providence, a unique bastion of democracy, the notorious pirate Blackbeard, or Edward Teach, presides over a chaotic realm of thieves and outlaws. This island poses a significant threat to global trade. Tom Lowe, a skilled undercover assassin, is dispatched to dismantle Blackbeard's rule. However, as Lowe delves deeper, he finds himself torn, intrigued by Blackbeard's radical ideals and insatiable quest for knowledge. Complicating matters further, Blackbeard faces his own perils from rival pirates and a compelling woman who challenges his authority and desires.
