Birds of Prey
Overview
Set in the shadowy landscape of New Gotham City, this series unfolds years after Batman's departure. Taking up the mantle of crime-fighters, Huntress, Oracle, and Dinah form the Birds of Prey, determined to protect their city in his absence. They are supported by the loyal Alfred Pennyworth, who guides Helena, the rightful heir to the Wayne legacy, and Detective Jesse Reese, a cop grappling with inexplicable crimes and powers. Central to the narrative are the metahumans—unique individuals with extraordinary abilities—living in a hidden subculture that remains largely unknown to the outside world.
