Overview

Set in the year 5012, humanity faces annihilation following a devastating alien invasion and the rise of relentless Machine Lifeforms. With the remaining humans taking refuge on the moon, they strategize to reclaim Earth using advanced android soldiers. As the conflict reaches an impasse due to the Machines' unending reproduction, a new elite unit, YoRHa, is deployed. Among them, the combat-ready 2B teams up with 9S, an analyst on the ground. Together, they navigate a world filled with enigmatic occurrences, highlighting the existential struggle of these artificial beings fighting for humanity's survival.
