C.O.P.S. (1988)
C.O.P.S. is an animated series from DIC Entertainment and Celebrity Home Entertainment that aired from 1988 to 1989. Set in a futuristic Empire City, the show follows a team of law enforcement officers battling against the villainous Big Boss and his gang. Taglined “Fighting crime in a future time,” the series captivated young audiences with its action-packed storytelling. In 1993, it was revived in reruns on CBS Saturday mornings under the title CyberCOPS, a rebranding necessitated by the launch of an unrelated reality show sharing the same name. The series was inspired by Hasbro's action figure line, C.O.P.S 'N' Crooks.
